ABOUT PIPPSINO

A different way to make an impact.

Pippsino is a social enterprise bringing people and charitable organizations together through fun and exciting Blackout Bingo events.

Our Mission

Support Altruistic Nonprofits

al-tru-is-tic: selfless concern for the happiness and wellbeing of other living creatures.

Pippsino is a social enterprise generating unrestricted funds to support U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Members can Champion their favorite cause, enabling everyday people to make bigger impacts.

Millions of people selflessly volunteer their time, skills, and energy every day. But even the most dedicated missions require financial support to grow and sustain impact.

Pippsino was built to bridge that gap — giving everyday people who care the ability to make a bigger impact. We bring individuals and nonprofits together in a community where participation can create positive change.

Transparency & trust

Transparency, integrity, and trust are not optional for us — they are foundational. Our focus is simple: genuine community support and meaningful impact.

Our Story

A Different Approach

Nonprofits do incredible work, but we understand that many are already stretched thin. Finding unrestricted funding often means more fundraising campaigns, more events, more donor outreach - and more work for teams that are already doing so much.

Pippsino was created to offer a different approach: Minimum Effort. Maximum Impact.

We believe supporting nonprofits shouldn't require them to constantly ask their communities for more donations. With Pippsino, there are no fundraising events for nonprofits to organize, no products to sell, and no donations to solicit. Organizations can participate at no cost and focus on what they do best: serving their communities.

Pippsino also takes a different approach to crowdfunding. Instead of simply asking people to give, we create fun and exciting experiences where people can participate, win cash prizes, and help generate unrestricted funding for charitable organizations.

The model is designed to be affordable and accessible so more people can be part of making an impact. Everyone participates on equal footing, and becoming a Champion does not increase a person's odds of winning. Champions simply choose the nonprofit they want to support so that when they win, their chosen organization wins too.

The idea is simple: bring a lot of people together, make participation enjoyable and affordable, and turn individual involvement into collective impact.

For nonprofits, that means a new opportunity for unrestricted funding without adding another major fundraising responsibility to their plate.

For individuals, it means an opportunity to be part of something bigger - even when making a large donation isn't possible.

Minimum Effort. Maximum Impact. That's the Pippsino approach.

Pippy

The Little Cat Behind Pippsino

Long before Pippy became the face of Pippsino, she was a tiny newborn kitten who needed someone to give her a chance.

Carl Steele found Pippy alone, lost, and hungry. She was incredibly small and vulnerable, so the Steele family took her in and gave her a home. Before long, that tiny kitten became a much-loved member of the family with a personality that seemed far bigger than she was.

Years later, as Carl sat at his computer developing the idea for a different kind of crowdfunding platform - one designed to help nonprofit organizations across the country - Pippy was rarely far away.

She would lounge in the office window, stroll across his keyboard at exactly the wrong moment, and, on cold Wyoming winter days, insist on climbing into his lap for warmth and snuggles.

As the idea began taking shape, Carl struggled with what to call it.

One day, he found himself thinking about Pippy. He remembered just how tiny and helpless she had been when he found her and how she had grown into a confident, loving cat who seemed to believe she was much bigger and more powerful than she really was.

That connected with something at the heart of the idea Carl was building.

There are millions of people who care deeply about charitable causes and want to make a difference, but many simply don't have the financial resources to contribute as much as they would like. Carl wanted to create a way for those individuals to come together and have an impact greater than any one person might be able to make alone.

And that sounded a lot like Pippy.

Little Pippy seemed to see herself as a big, fearless cat—a lion protecting her family.

That image became the inspiration for Pippsino and its logo: a little cat who sees a mighty lion when she looks at herself.

Today, Pippy represents something much bigger than a family pet or a mascot. She represents the idea that you don't have to be big to make a big difference.

Through Pippsino, individuals can come together, Champion the causes they care about, and turn many small acts of participation into something much more powerful.

Little Pippy. Big heart. Bigger impact.
